About
Meet Abigail
Abigail Lennox Hopkins is an infant family specialist and the founder of Little Humans. She founded her company on the belief that parents are the most empowered when they view their children as “little humans,” or active participants in their own development who are entitled to their own thoughts and feelings. Equipping parents to tackle everything from pre-birth preparations to new sibling socialization, Abigail brings both hands-on experience from classrooms, private nannying, and her own child along with her research-based knowledge from the forefront of early childhood studies. Integrating philosophies from her training in RIE (Resources for Infant Educarers), Zero to Three, and a degree in Early Childhood Studies from CSU Channel Islands, Abigail’s ultimate goal is to remove the stress of societal expectations and to simplify the lives of new parents. Her non-dogmatic and integrated approach gently guides families to adapt her expertise to their own needs, whether it’s redirecting a certain behavior or creating healthy habits for holistic and happy families.
Certifications and affiliations include:
• BS in Early Childhood Studies from Cal State Channel Islands (2013)
• Member of Zero to Three, a nonprofit organization devoted to infant care
• Completed the RIE Foundations: Theory and Observation Course (2014)
